New Horizon Co-op is hiring a Marketing Coordinator at our Resource Office in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

What you'll do:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic across all platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (images, videos, and written) that aligns with the company's vision, mission, values
- Monitor, listen, and respond to customers in a manner that builds a positive community and encourages engagement
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply that knowledge to increase the effectiveness of social media efforts.
- Analyze key metrics and create reports to share insights and recommendations with the team
- Stay updated on industry trends for content creation and strategy
- Perform additional duties as required

Who you are and what you have:
- 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in the retail industry
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Strong writing, editing (photo/video/text), and communication skills.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms considered an asset.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced work environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization.
- Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and community engagement.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as contribute to a team environment
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, and comfortable with public speaking
